The material used seems to shift along the string and, while its overall impression is purple or pink, bits of green are woven in places and there's a couple stripes of orange around the middle. The 'brim' includes a striking shade of blue. Instead of being completely round, it sort of perks up in a rounded point at the back.

There's a matching (but much smaller) kind of braid up at the top in place of a pom.
