thanks. i was told i could make it any color i wanted, so i thought green might be good. i think that's my favorite.
[Sometimes, he's still not entirely sure on what he particularly likes... but he's getting better at it.]
so you could make whatever character you wanted and roleplay it out. i've been reading a blog with stories that people submit on what happens with their games which is how i heard about it. it would be better than dwelling or something i guess.
[That's been his go-to as he's been dealing with Hakkai being unconscious.]
[ He might be making that green comment offhand here, but Minako is definitely remembering that. It's now an important Friendship Fact. Be prepared for many green presents in your future, Chikusa. ]
Dwelling? Is something up? [ It sounds kind of general, but she just has to make sure. ]
[And then Chikusa doesn't respond for over a whole god damn hour. Minako is more than free to keep sending him texts gently harassing him over this fact, but Chikusa will stalwartly ignore them.]
[...But he does respond. Eventually. It just... takes some working up to. So much has happened recently, after all, and he's... not particularly in the business of regularly venting his emotions out to other people. Not the ones that really matter, however, the sensitive things that feel like a ball of prickles in his throat. Once upon a time, he think Ken would have been enough, and even then, they hadn't been super open in a lot of things due to knowing each other so well...]
[...Just... things have changed, just a little bit, since it was just the two of them hiding away in abandoned buildings from the the world and everything in it. Minako isn't exactly his first choice, not exactly, but- ]
two guys i know disappeared and hakkai-sama is in a coma or something i've been staying in with ken to watch over him
[ There are most definitely a lot of harassing messages during that hour. Including messages of "OH MY GOD CHIKUSA YOU DIDN'T RE-DIE IN THE MIDDLE OF TALKING TO ME RIGHT???" and about 30 messages with "Chikusaaaaa" and various amounts of "a" involved in them.
But then.
Oh.
Geez.
That's.. heavy. Probably? It's always hard to read emotions into the things Chikusa says, but logically speaking, it has to be tough. Minako has dealt with Zelda being in a weird coma before, but at least she knew the reason for it and Zelda reassured her she'd be back, but.. you know! It's still upsetting! Even Chikusa has to be kind of upset at something like that.
But Minako isn't one to just leave pitying or sympathetic words. Those don't change anything for the better, after all - just action does. So there's a fairly quick reply-- ]
Should I bring some sweets over? Tell me if there's any you or Ken like in particular, I'll pick them up on the way over! Oh, or maybe you guys feel like playing a card game? Are you any good at Old Maid?
[Frankly, he's not entirely sure what reaction he's going to get out of Minako. He's only ever seen her in full levels of cheer and f... f... friendliness? He thinks that's what it is? So it's with a kind of wariness that he opens her message.]
[...It's not bad. He think it's almost preferable.]
ken likes fruity gum.
[Minako might remember Chikusa considering this carefully in his chocolate making endeavors.]
i don't like the candies where you have to practically make them. kit kats and stuff are fine. i could probably pick up old maid.
[He might have to tell Ken to clean himself if they're having someone over... It's actually been longer than even Chikusa would allow normally, which is almost embarrassing just by his own standards.]
Got it! I'll go grab the stuff and then I'll be on my way!
[ There's definitely someone coming over. Minako can't be stopped once she's got an idea in her mind, especially when said idea is meant to help someone else. ]
[He guesses... Still, hopefully it takes her at least a little bit of time. Looking around the house, Chikusa supposes that he should probably get Asshole to clean up some of it.]
[Just so it's not too gross.]
[Ugh. Hakkai has got him caring about appearances.]
no subject
[ "Cute" probably isn't the right word for a bird controlling skeletons, but.. you know. ]
no subject
