[Chikusa has never really dealt with plants in his life, at least on this sort of level. The most he deals with is helping out Hakkai's medicinal garden.]
As much as any flowers without their roots would, a couple days at most unless you find all their stems and can water them. The rudest thing is tossing them in the garbage right after getting them, it's fine if you do it later, they won't last anyway. Though you can dry them, too.
[After the harder lei forming the base, Chikusa loosely drapes the actual flower lei over his head without any care for what it catches on. This is mostly bits of his hat- not beach appropriate wear, admittedly- but whatever.]

I think I have no problem with your type of rudeness.
